Sipp Is Not Your Usual Cup: A Welcome Addition to the Manila Coffee Scene

Sipp is not your ordinary coffee shop — and that seems to be the whole point. Now open inside Penshoppe’s newly reopened SM Mall of Asia flagship, Sipp brings a new kind of retail experience to Manila: part café, part hangout spot, part extension of the brand’s fashion world. SM Mall of Asia describes it as Penshoppe’s first-ever coffee concept, located at Level 1, North Main Mall.

What makes Sipp interesting is that it isn’t a standalone café trying to feel like every other minimalist coffee shop. It sits inside Penshoppe, turning a shopping stop into something more social. You can browse, grab a drink, take photos, and hang out all in one space. Penshoppe has also referred to its refreshed MOA flagship as The Penshoppe Clubhouse, which makes Sipp feel less like an add-on and more like part of a bigger lifestyle concept.

The branding says it clearly: “Not your usual cup.” Sipp’s own drink lineup leans into that idea with options like Granola Oat Latte, Ube Latte, Shaken Black, Coco Matcha, Cloud Coffee, Berry Fizz, Raspberry Tea, and Raspberry Fizz Tea. It’s a menu that feels playful and very on-brand — familiar enough for an easy mall coffee stop, but with enough twists to make it feel different from your usual order.

That’s what makes it worth checking out. Sipp is less about rushing in for caffeine and more about the full experience — the drink, the store, the vibe, and the fact that it gives shoppers a reason to stay a little longer. In a mall like MOA, where people are usually moving from one stop to the next, Sipp creates a pause.

It also signals something bigger for Penshoppe. The brand is no longer just selling clothes in a traditional retail setup; it’s building a space people can actually spend time in. With Sipp, the store becomes more than a place to shop — it becomes a lifestyle stop for fits, sips, and everything in between.
