SIMPLY JSEC

A nice place for visitors of the Ateneo football field - a big training ground for soccer players for Atenean students and invited players -- to dine. Most kiosks are reportedly student-owned. Nice food from each kiosk.

JSEC means John Gokongwei Student Enterprise Centre, where kiosks in the canteen are mostly operated by students in the nearby John Gokongwei School of Managment building.

It may be part of the curriculum to inculcate the students to become future entrepreneurs.

The entrance is free of student residents. Visitors need to present an ID and wear the visitor's ID tag.

The food is good sometimes! This is the training ground for Atenean students to finetune their business ethic and maybe turn a profit, as most kiosks are student-owned. It's best to try the food from each kiosk while they're still there, because they change every year -- students graduate eventually. Bring your own tupperware for a discount on your meals.

They have a wide assortment of foods available. Once i had visited during my fieldtrip and have noticed that the prices are very competive but never the less the food is great!

Fun fact:

All of the stall/kiosk will charge you aditional fee for plates, spoons and fork.
BUT they will return your money if you also deposited the utenstils that used! That is the reason why their campus is so clean and no rubbish. Oh BTW if your a gcash user, there is a small machine for you to topup your gcash account.

I never thought I'd find myself craving for a large bowl of salad :3 The serving is really big!!
