Sichu Malatang

One of the best Malatang you can get here in the Philippines. Fresh and various choices. Authentic taste with different spicy levels to choose from. Can be a little bit expensive. Quite noisy since it's inside the mall with all the kids yelling.

One of the unique dining experiences where you pay for the weight that you'll be eating. No use to complain about the portion sizes because you're the one choosing what's going in your bowl. Level of spiciness can also be customized and if not enough they have the sauce bar to taste.

One thing they don't explain however is that your order comes with one free small bowl of rice. and the portion sizing of the rice is just enough but i like their portion sizes when they were first starting because the rice really is overflowing.

I had it yesterday in Podium. I had a hotpot and I was very surprised by the size of the bowl for one person. 😂 Honesty the broth was the best palette for me and definitely you will like this. I’m a little disappointed with dry pot because it was heavy oily. Hard to enjoy it but the taste is fine. I recommend to put the peanut with chili sauce.

The space is cramped and the line was pretty long and slow because there was only one cashier. I wish there’s another cashier to reduce the line.

They dont have water service. So bring your own water or buy a bottle (P30 only)

Sichu is another interesting place we've found and tried here is Pasay. It's located inside the Double Dragon Plaza. They serve authentic Malatang dishes!
