McDonald's Katipunan

I am very happy to find a McDonald's branch where the tumblers are clean. I have had to ask my softdrinks replaced with disposable cups in Anonas and Cubao branches when I dined in because my drink had greasy film, evidence that the tumblers were not properly washed. Service was also excellent at Katipunan branch. We were seniors and our order was brought to us in a trolley and the server was very courteous. He asked if we needed anything else before he left our table.

The place isn't crowded. They turned down the air conditioning though, making the place a bit warm.

Ordered mcflurry at 4:44PM. Received at 5:36PM. Almost 1 hr of wait for a simple order. Live order view is not working. My order number got removed from preparing even though it wasnt fulfilled yet. Stood in front of the cashier for 40min wondering where my order is. Asked multiple follow ups yet no action was made until a staff took my receipt (was already 5:30 PM). It took him just a few minutes to accomplish ny order. Overall not a good experience, especially during Finals week where free time is limited. Do not order if you do not intend to stay for long.

The food is what you’d expect of any McDonald’s. But service is TRULY TERRIBLE here so avoid this place if you can. Their stupid system is so slow, you know that it’s not fast food. The AC is also either turned off or turned on low at several times during the day. Maybe management is operating at a loss and trying to save on costs by not hiring enough stuff and turning off the AC? Who knows.
