Lawa Cafe - Tagaytay

Went on a weekday. Place is kind off hard to find since you have to enter a parking slot and go through a small entrance in the right of the nearby restaurant.

Try the choc-nut turon! My family loved it. It’s served hot so it’s perfect for the weather.

We also tried the drinks and I personally loved the strawberry frappe they have.

Place is great if you want to see the views of Taal and it’s not overcrowded 😊

Entrance was kinda confusing to find. For reference the entrance of this cafe is by Cabezera - Ridge View.

This is a decent and laid back cafe in Tagaytay City but I think that its menu lacks variety and the drinks need improvement in its taste, considering the price point. I think that the cafe should solidify its branding, personality, and overall ambiance not just being a cafe with a view of Taal Lake.

They have a great view of Tall. Ambiance was chill and relaxing (Just be prepared for ants and insects crawling around). Food was okay. The tawilis was a bit big and not crunchy (I prefer the smaller, crunchy ones). Pancit was okay. I did like their Iced Caramel Machiato.

Turon was out of stock when we came at 4pm. Drinks were too sweet for my taste. Service time was slow when we visited, which was on a Sunday afternoon. Parking was also inadequate. Good thing working here is the view of the lake and volcano.

We visited the place for its breathtaking view of Taal, offering a refreshing ambiance. However, our dining experience left us with mixed feelings. The beef pares with bone marrow was flavorful, but the lukewarm soup and consistently uncooked rice were disappointing. The sisigsilog failed to capture the essence of sisig; the meat tasted aged, and the uncooked rice persisted. Despite these setbacks, the frappe was a hit, though my drink lacked sufficient sugar, possibly due to excessive ice.
