Komoro Soba is like a pillar of SM Megamall. I remember it so well from my childhood, and since I don’t see it much, I make it a point to drop by here the few times I am at Megamall.
This restaurant was where I first heard of cold soba lol and it’s one of the few restaurants left that still offer decent Japanese meals for below Php 200! So for intense food critics, I don’t think anyone should assume crazy good food for the affordable price, but I think anyone who eats here is up for a pleasant surprise.
My favorites are their Chicken Karaage (sorry no photo) and their Udon. They got me into…

Fast delivery of orders. No Soba though. Should remove “Soba” from the store name here on google map.
Dining area is kinda crowded and people pile up for dinner. You can order to go or dine in.
Gyudon and Sukiyaki rice are P135 each.

Though it might be one of the most affordable bowls of noodles you can get around here, the portion represents itself. My udon noodles tasted ordinary, but it might be one of a few things that isn't too salty for me so far. They don't offer only udon and soba but also a variety of rice bowls and side dishes. There are more than enough seats and tables, the service is okay, and the place is located close to the entrance.

Prices are affordable for meals that are very filling. Also a first for me to try Cold Soba noodles (Zaru Soba) which was refreshing. Also had Teishoku (Mix Tempura and Chicken Katsu). Chicken wasn't fully cooked tho

kaki age tastes good, we ordered 2x
gyoza needed more flavor, probably lacks spring onion
black ramen, practically tastes like la paz batchoy, felt like a filipino x japanese fusion
beef yakiniku don, was sweet and spicy, and too wet for me, spiciness was weird for me, or probably new to me how a yakiniku is spicy
