Big fan of the gyukatsu as it comes with real wasabi? apple sauce and salt! It was tender and was tasty to eat with the sauces. Katsudon needs a bit more flavor/salt for me

Ordered Rosu & Tori Katsudon

Its strength is in its simplicity.

The meat is great, but the chicken is more soft and tender than its pork counterpart. Food quantity looks small pero nabusog naman. Surprised with the additional fee for the sauce, but it’s kinda worth it. It’s subtle, but it’s better than the usual katsu sauce. Best part is trying it with the wasabi. Did not expect it would go so well.

Good food, but i don’t think the value for money is good vs others. If gusto mo ng sulit i believe Yabu is the better option.

ordered the gyukatsu, since it was the second best-seller acc to miss. ngl, expected a bit more cuz online reviews said it’s the best katsu in the metro. it wasn’t as tender as i hoped, considering it’s gyukatsu—and for php 685, that’s a bit steep. 😅 it was also a bit bland; what really carried the flavor was the apple sauce and the wasabi. nevertheless, it’s still on soft opening, so hoping they can tweak and improve the dish in the coming weeks!

on a brighter side, tried my bf’s rosu katsudon and honestly it's waaaayy better, super soft & juicy + the sauce was chef's kiss. def gonna order …
