Japonesa

Japonesa is hands down the best restaurant in the Philippines for me. I’ve been to Japan multiple times, and this is my go-to spot for Japanese cuisine. The quality and taste are on par with authentic restaurants in Japan. 💗💗🫶

I heard they’ll be serving wagyu and otoro soon, and I can’t wait! I was able to try their otoro during the Valentine’s Day menu, and it was incredible!

Everyone knows they serve really good Japanese food but their cocktails/drinks are also to die for.

I reserved a table for 2 at their second floor, the ambience was really intimate and casual. The place is pleasantly designed, colorful, soft colors, it's hip without being tacky. The servers were really pleasant and knowledgable about the menu. We got sushi and they were all really good, especially the Japonesa sushi, that one's definitely the most unique one they have. The price is really reasonable too. It's not crazy expensive. For two people we only spent about ₱1800. Overall we had a great time and we will visit again!

This is such a fabulous place. Finally tried it with a friend and it was such a lovely experience.
I adore the sword as door-handle detail, and really the way the whole of the 2nd floor was tastefully designed.
This is one of the few restaurants in Makati that for me is well worth my money. From the staff, generous serving size, everything we ordered were masarap, and the ambience.
I highly recommend trying out this place.
I forgot to ask why they don't have ramen though...

Its hard to be both interesting and consistent when it comes to sushi but Japonesa does it in strides. The La Japonesa Maki is to die for(as a salmon lover). That in itself deserves an 8 plus the drinks are incredibly good and smooth(highballs forever
