Constantly looking around for value-packed meals, I found Emily in Pares within our neighborhood. A wordplay on the love it or hate it Netflix series "Emily in Paris," this particular shop is owned and managed by a couple who are both lawyers. I don't know if the food truck in Las Piñas that bears the same name is theirs as well. It is a bright and airy spot on the corner of Zapote and Montojo Sts in Brgy Sta Cruz in Makati. Went to this Silog/Pares hole-in-the-wall resto named "Emily in Pares" a wordplay from the popular Netflix series, as recommended by vlogger Tagalog Kurt an American speaking tagalog. Food was great and affordable. Try their bestseller tapsilog and their crispy dinuguan.
