Cabalen - SM City Clark

Cabalen is a buffet type of restaurant. We went here just 30 minutes before closing time. There were less choices of food on display but the crew gladly refilled the buffet table with what we asked for. Food here is tasty. Their crispy fried fish is my favorite. The staff were really friendly and accommodating even though we were the last people to come in and finish.

One of the best place to celebrate any occasion, birthday would be extra special, Y? celebrant would be free of charge.🤗 The taste of real kapangpangan-buffet style. Everything would be refilled, and they are more than glad to re-heat your food if requested. Clean separate🚻 restroom is a plus.

The common Filipino dishes of fried fish, different pork dishes, and excellent desserts. To be fair, I only enjoyed their dessert options and a vegetable dish even though I mustered the strength to try their other dishes. If you love Filipino food served in a buffet style, this place should be a regular for you.

First time trying Cabalen. The food is good, but needs to improve on cleanliness. There were many people inside & outside the restaurant but some plates were dirty. Some of the food was already cold also :( but overall, will recommend cabalen. But will try other branches.

Both service and quality of food have witnessed a downward spiral for the Cabalen Buffet Restaurants over the past years. Value wise, no doubt, is just right for those who want a hearty Filipino Buffet without spending almost P1,000 per head. Buffer spread is also good enough for the rate - with its fair selection of main courses, soups, desserts and appetizers.

Timely refill needs a big improvement though as when you are one of those guests who come in after the usual rush hour, you will find yourself with lukewarm food to eat and barely enough servings in in the buffet spread.

One thing I do like about this branch in SM City Clark is made-to-order sisig. We tried both the Bangus and Pork sisig dishes, which did not disappoint at all.
